Machapuchare, the Fishtail Mountain, seen at sunrise from the Tadapani village, on the Ghorepani and Poon Hill trekking trail. A springtime view, with some blooming rhododendron trees in the lower part of the image. Machapuchare, which has never been officially climbed, dominates the scene. Gandharba Chuli is left of it, connected by sharp ridge, and then there is Annapurna III. To the right of the Fishtail Mountain, in greater distance, there is Annapurna II. Annapurna Massif, Annapurna Conservation Area. Kaski District of the Gandaki Province, Nepal.
