Description

Boudhanath, the Boudha Stupa, the largest stupa in Nepal, Buddhist religious complex, UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the main Kathmandu Valley tourist attractions. The upper part of the dome and the gilded, golden spire with Buddhist prayer flags stretched from the top. Eyes on the cubic part, the harmika, represent all-seeing, wisdom eyes of the Buddha. Seen late in the afternoon on a clear, blue-sky, autumn day in the warm light of the setting sun. Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal
