Description

Swayambhunath, Swayambhu Mahachaitya, sometimes called the Monkey Temple, the Swayambhu stupa, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the Kathmandu Valley photographed in autumn against the blue sky. On the white dome stands a cubic part, the harmika, with eyes painted on its four sides, known as Eyes of Buddha or Wisdom Eyes. The golden spire is above it, and Buddhist prayer flags hang from the top. Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Bagmati Province, Nepal
