Description

Boudhanath or Boudha Stupa is an important religious site in Kathmandu, where people meet late in the afternoons to circumambulate the dome of the sacred building. It is the largest stupa in Nepal. Its spire is gold-plated, and there are all seeing eyes of the Buddha on each of its four sides facing the cardinal directions. It is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the city. Nepal.
