Makalu, Island Peak and others seen from Chukhung Ri

View from Chukhung Ri (5550m) – a trekking peak located in the Imja Khola valley’s upper part. Imja Tse (Island Peak, 6189m) – the popular 6000-metres-plus peak – is just ahead. Makalu (8463m), the world’s sixth highest mountain is the highest mountain in this view and indeed looks the highest in this photograph. Autumn trekking season.
