I’ve crossed the Zherin La four times. Each time it felt no one was there between my visits. There were no fresh prayer flags – just shreds of those we had hung on my earlier visit. There are countless places like this in Ladakh and vast numbers of wild trekking routes. That makes Ladakh a perfect region for adventure treks in small groups in remote areas.
