Dettifoss, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe

Dettifoss in the Northeast Iceland is the second most powerful waterfall in Europe and the most powerfull in Iceland. The river here is Jökulsá á Fjöllum, which sources in the Vatnajökull glacier and flows here in the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon. The place is protected in the Vatnajökull National Park.
